Costco Hack: Bubbly Baked Spinach Artichoke Jalapeno Dip

Yum! I've tried some free samples of the La Terra Fina spinach dips and always thought they were pretty good, dip some veggies and crackers in there - they do not disappoint. La Terra Fina even sent me some a year or two ago, but I didn't have any recipe ideas for them nor know if I'd buy them again. True - if I was at Costco and prepping to entertain some guests, it's a good option to pick up a tub and a lot better than the dips I find on the shelves at Kroger. My "pretty good" assessment was related to the dip when it was served cold. Then, months later, one day I read the tub and noticed it said "try warm!"... so I did... it changes my assessment from "pretty good" to "100% addictive." Free samples or not, I highly recommend you try it as a hot spinach dip - yum!! I've made my own dips as well and I will still continue to buy this dip. Maui Banana Bread

I'm always searching for the "perfect banana bread recipe"... something that compares to the best banana bread I've ever had, which was at the Halfway to Hana road stop in Maui while we were on our honeymoon. Probably everything tastes better when you're on a honeymoon traveling through rainforests in a convertible and swimming in waterfalls, however, based on the zillions of reviews online of the place and its mention in the Maui Revealed book, the bread is actually really really good. I've been searching for a copycat recipe ever since our honeymoon to no avail... but last weekend, we had a plethora of ripe bananas and I searched again. I came across this "Maui Banana Bread" recipe, which I thought would turn out to be one of those Hawaii-esque quick breads that have coconut and macadamia nuts and stuff mixed into banana bread to give it an island taste (whcih is not what I'm looking for at all), but this recipe looked very very simple. I was incredibly excited that Cindy's sister accepted my offer to bring the cake for the baby shower and immediately started looking for ideas in magazines, CakeCentral.com, and Google. My mom said she had made several baby shower cakes and there were lots of ideas and I quickly realized I didn't want a boring rectangle with the grocery-store shell border and buttercream roses. I came across many cool ideas but eventually decided I had to go for the BIG WIN even though I'm a novice decorator. I felt I needed to have "height" so the flat baby carriage idea was out, and making perfect 3-D blocks seemed impossible so I went with the challenging idea of a 3-D baby bassinet.
